Bride-to-Be's Crafty Corner

Next task after the recipe book: Ring bearer pillow. I was fortunate enough to find this off-white pillow online for around $8. What a steal! All of the pillows I've seen with the matching acent colors I need are way above my intended budget, normally STARTING at $30. I just don't think it's worth the cash whenever it's only going to be used for 15 minutes by my little 6 year old cousing. For all I know, he'll be kicking it like a hackey sack down the isle!

After trying a few different things, I think I'm going to settle with this look:

The jewels I found in the scrapbooking isle of Hobby Lobby. I've searched high and low and these are the only ones I could find that fit my requirements. We shall see how they hold up. I may have to use the hot glue gun to keep them in place.

I think I'm going to replaze the off-white ribbon that's holding the faux rings with chocolate ribbon of the same width. Once this is complete, project number two will be complete as well!

  1. I love how you picked something up and made it your own. I'll be doing a lot of that with my wedding. It helps to save money and personalize all at the same time!
