Bride-to-Be's Crafty Corner: Mothers' Bud Vases

Keeping in tune with the square glass vases I intend to use for the centerpieces at the reception, I decided to keep the same glass look throughout the ceremony as well.

Picking up two small square glass bud vases at Garden Ridge for around $6 total, I easily used the same organza, wired, chocolate ribbon used for the ring bearer pillow to add a little flair to these vases. Also used were more scrapbooking jewels found at Hobby Lobby. With a little twisting and hot gluing, below is what I ended up with.

The nice thing about these vases is that whenever they are moved from the church to the reception site, they can be a nice addition to the parents tables' decor. (And the Mom's beautiful orange roses and crandberry caspia arrangements won't wilt!)

Next up on the list: Unity Candle Holders!

  1. I love these vases! I like the idea of putting the ribbon around them to really make them pop out. Great idea.
