So for my one follower and awesome friend Stacy, let's see how this goes.
Well since posting last August (I apologize for being pathetic), a TON of things have happened:
-I've settled into my job and have stopped complaining. For those who talk to me on a regular basis, this is awesome, I'm sure. I've come to the conclusion that no one likes their first job. Duh. Who would have the excellent luck to find a dream career right out of college. I'd like to see that person that did. High five to them! Don't get me wrong, it's still not stellar, but I'm just plugging along making what contacts I can. Through joining a few area Chambers of Commerce and signing up to be on a few committees, I'm hoping to expand my network contacts---all the while spreading my professional wings. At least I'm on top of that.
-Matt and I celebrated our second Christmas together with our Families. It was wonderful. We chose to take the majority of our vacation days around the holidays, and then enjoyed a two week period of doing whatever we wanted. This included a trip to Memphis with Matt's best friend and lovely wife. We had a blast! It's nice to be out and enjoying the world, even if it was only a 6 hour drive away from our homes.
-On the way home from this vacation, I was silently very disappointed about NOT becoming an engaged lady. Much to my surprise, however, he popped the question on our journey home! In front of some of our nearest and dearest friends, he gave me the most perfect and memorable proposal I'd wanted. I wouldn't have changed a thing. I think the picture says it all.

-So 2010 began with a bang. Now that we're all caught up, I'm now a working-woman who is attempting to plan the wedding of my dreams while staying sane. Sounds easy, right? Riiiiiiiight. Oh well, at least I have a wonderful fiance behind me REGARDLESS of any bumps in the road. November 6th, here we come! Then I shall be Mrs. Bednarz. Ah, to finally move to the beginning of the alphabet!
Now begins the task: One day of blogging down, a TON more to go. I can do it!
I almost peed myself when I saw you posted! Hallelujah, I think I am viewing the birth of a new wedding blogger! It'll be so fun for you to have this journal of your wedding planning!
